We are very excited to be welcoming our guests back for the exciting gaming, delicious dining, exceptional accommodations, and overall fun to which our guests have become accustomed. As we work through our Phased Reopening Plan, the health and safety of our guests, team members, and all Tribal Members remain of the utmost importance.

To that end, during the temporary closure, and in following guidelines provided by the CDC, local, state, federal and tribal authorities, we have made a series of improvements and policy updates to help ensure the safety of all who come out to relax and enjoy themselves at Ute Mountain Casino Hotel.

  • Plexiglass is at registers where you may conduct a transaction with one of our Team Members.
  • Every other gaming machine will remain closed to maintain social distancing.
  • Additional Hand Sanitizer stations are being provided throughout the property.
  • Hotel rooms and suites have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized during the temporary closure.

Moreover, we have been working on numerous fantastic improvements during the temporary closure, about which we are so excited to share with you!

Kuchu’s Restaurant will reopen shortly after initial casino reopening, with a brand new menu and table service only. The Buffets will remain temporarily closed until further notice. The Casino Snack Bar will also reopen showcasing a new menu. The Food Court at the Travel Center has been and will remain open for food service

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Am I required to have my temperature taken prior to entering Ute Mountain Casino Hotel?

Yes, and everyone will need to come in through the main entrance.

Am I required to wear a mask?

Yes, masks are required to be worn at all times by guests and team members while in all venues on property.

Will you be limiting capacity?

Yes, we will be operating at a limited capacity of 30% when we reopen. In the event a line develops, we appreciate your patience during this challenging time.

How frequently will machines be cleaned and sanitized?

As soon as we have seen machines being used we will be wiping them down throughout the day.

Can I still smoke inside the Casino?

No, in an effort to provide a healthier environment we are going non-smoking property-wide. There will be designated smoking areas for guests that are outside of the casino.

All Tobacco, Chewing Tobacco, Vaping products and Cigars will no longer be allowed anywhere on the property.

Will the restaurants be open?

Kuchu’s Restaurant will reopen on Monday, August 24, 2020 with a brand new menu and table service only. The Buffets will remain temporarily closed until further notice. The Casino Snack Bar will also remain temporarily closed. The Food Court at the Travel Center has been and will remain open for food service.

Will Buffets like the Seafood & Prime Rib Buffet ever open again?

Yes, we fully anticipate reopening our delicious Buffets when it is safe to do so. Please subscribe to our email newsletter (below), follow us on social media and check back at our website for the latest updates.

What if I have a betting ticket that I wasn’t able to cash, prior to the temporary closure?

We will be allowing all tickets to be cashed in.

What happens to my tier level as a player?

We are maintaining your Mountain Rewards tier level which you had prior to our temporary closure. We have extended all of our Player’s Tier Status and Benefits through December 31st, 2020. This will allow you more time to enjoy your tier status and benefits, as well as help you achieve the next tier.

Your offers will not downgrade. When calculating guest offers, the months of closure will not be included in the calculations. This will ensure that you receive all offers that you have rightfully earned. Hotel and Meal offers are temporarily unavailable, and will be reinstated in the near future as a part of our Phased Reopening Plan.

However, if it appears to you that your tier level expired during our closure, please visit our Mountain Rewards Club and one of our Team Members will be happy to help you.

What happened to my unused Free Play from March through July?

Free Play for March through July (as with all Free Play) is time-stamped in our system and is therefore expired. For those Players whose level of play qualifies for our Newsletter, the next round of Free Play will start on August 19th. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you out for some fun!

What if my Birthday occurred during the closure? Will I still receive my Birthday Bonus?

Yes, of course and we would love to celebrate with you and yours. Birthday Free Play and Meal offers from March through July will be honored. If your birthday was during the time of closure, we will provide you with your birthday free play and meal benefits when you return. Meal offers will be available once our restaurant is open. Please visit one of our promotional kiosks to redeem.

I already have my Birthday Voucher, but I was not able to redeem it before the temporary closure. Will I still be able to use it after reopening?

Yes, of course! We look forward to celebrating your birthday with you, even if it’s belated!

What about the giveaways and promotions?

All previous promotions and giveaways were canceled when we suspended operations. We will have more exciting promotions for you to join in on when we reopen.

Are the Travel Centers still open?

Yes, for your convenience both of our Travel Centers remain open. Our Towaoc Travel Center is open 24 hours and our Whitemesa Travel Center is open 6am – 9pm for fuel, food, beverages and sundries.

Is the RV Park open?

The Sleeping Ute RV Park is open with similar enhanced sanitization procedures in place. We stand ready to serve you..

I had a Hotel reservation for dates when you were closed.

Reservations for stays during our closure were automatically canceled and fully refunded. We will work closely with you to reschedule your hotel stay once we reopen on a month to month basis.

How do I get a copy of my WIN/LOSS statement for my Taxes?

obtain a WIN/LOSS statement in person, please visit the Mountain Rewards Club and one of our Team Members will be happy to help you. When doing so, please provide your Player’s Card and photo identification.
